Cannabis For Gals' Monthly Visit?

Women may have a new option when it comes to menstrual relief.

The Company Foria Relief  released 2 and 4 packs ($44) of suppositories designed to be inserted into the vaginal canal via a coconut oil based capsule. Take that cramps!

They sum it up pretty well themselves  “Foria Relief contains both THC and CBD, the two key active cannabinoid compounds found in cannabis.  Together they activate certain cannabinoid receptors in the pelvic region when introduced into the body via these specially formulated suppositories.  Users have reported a significant decrease in the pain and discomfort often associated with menstruation. The cannabinoids directly impact the immune system and the nerve endings of the uterus, cervix, ovaries and surrounding smooth muscle tissues THC positively affects the nerves and assists in blocking out pain while also allowing for more pleasant signals to be received by the brain.

CBD works in the immune system by suppressing the mechanisms responsible for inflammation. CBD also slows down electrical signaling to muscles and allows them to relax, thereby reducing cramping. Foria Relief harnesses the power of these two cannabinoids to provide women with a safe and natural alternative to manage the cramps and pain they often experience while menstruating.”

Foria Relief while might be a little on the expensive side at the moment, but the notion that you are putting the medicine where it is needed, as opposed to affecting the whole body, seems like an interesting idea.

Foria seems to be focused on the ladies, offering a sensual lubrication oil as well…

While I lack the organs to feel this pain I can certainly sympathize with many female friends that struggle with horrible cramps.

    Mary Jane, meet Aunt Flo.

  • Ron Supwood

Can I insert them in my man place?

  • steele

The Inventors obviously tested them in their ears. There is no end to this stupidity.

  • Don Mann

This isn’t appropriate for children to see. Take this gunk down immediately!

  • Willard Grimshaw

Wow. Just reading this article made my hamstrings start to tighten up.

  • James Valentine

omg…Don Mann, get over yourself! This is a great article and were not trying to live in nazi germany. This isn’t a children’s website, its a newspaper website with articles in it for adults to read and enjoy. If kids read this, its not the end of the world for them. In fact, god forbid a girl who is suffering from severe cramps may actually benefit from this…Go back to medieval times with that comment

But I still need to know if it will work for my chronic constipation? I’m cramping bad and the wind is getting quite violent. Why should the ladies have it good while man problems are ignored just because real men don’t eat vegetables.

  • Ron Supwood

OK, I’m trying it but darned if I can get it to keep burning. Perhaps girls have better control in their special places?

  • Is there still anyone who don’t want to make Marijuana Legal as a medicine.
Well I don’t think men who rule govt will ever understand this
